The revised exhibition area for Zurich Airport at the Museum of Transport in Lucerne was opened to the public today. Included: various lights from our "runway lighting" product range.

The existing system for switching on the runway lighting system at the airport Les Eplatures was expanded to include new functions (radio control). This was done in consultation with FOCA and REGA.
As part of the 10-28 runway refurbishment, the existing halogen lights are being replaced by new, intelligent LED lights. Flughafen Zürich AG has produced an interesting and impressive film about this on YouTube:
